GRANTS

 

Grants are given to students whose families are on limited means and living within the Dunstable area.  They are for educational costs, including equipment and clothing.

 

Applications normally close at the beginning of May and are  sent out in July.

 

Grants are limited to a maximum of four per child.

 

To apply for a grant please complete the grant application form which should be signed by both you and the student’s school or college.

 

Proof that you are in receipt of Housing Benefit is required.  However, if you are on limited means and not on Housing Benefit, you should contact the clerk to arrange an interview and complete a finance form.

 

If you have applied for a Chews Foundation Grant you are not eligible for a grant from Ashton Schools Foundation.
